Rex Hospital's surgical services have long been the #1 choice for surgery in Wake County - performing more than 28,000 procedures last year. With a growing population in western Wake County, the need for additional surgical services was deemed necessary and Rex opened its doors in Cary in July, 2003.

The opening of Rex Surgery Center of Cary has enabled patients receiving outpatient surgeries in gynecology, plastic surgery, ENT, orthopedics and other more general clinical areas the ability to receive these services in a state-of-the-art facility close to where they live and work.

Rex Surgery Center of Cary recently received a Five Star Performer Award for best overall quality of care by Professional Research Consultants (PRC), a nationally recognized healthcare ratings organization, for its shining achievements in cleanliness, minimal wait times, customer service and staff expertise.

This 67,000 square foot medical complex offers numerous amenities to both patients and physicians. The waiting area overlooks a pond and includes a children's activity area as well as special seating for our business-minded guests.
